I just got on today and noticed that the viewers in this forum are a lot less than NCAA (by about 200) and slightly less than those in the NBA 2K forum. I know I've been seeing this a lot lately but don't remember that happening this time of year before.

I'm not sure if mods have access to the traffic data but is traffic in this forum as sharply down as I perceive it to be? I can see NCAA a week before release but NBA isn't dropping until October and even though there has been a bunch of King Ego drama, I wouldn't expect the traffic at that forum to be heavier than Madden a month away from release.

I think this site is a pretty good gauge for interest but I'm not sure if it's apathy or if has EA sort of taken a mulligan on 2011? There isn't much buzz and I actually don't remember seeing a commercial for the game yet.

This may not be a topic worth discussing but I just found 94 viewers to be very small for this time of year.

NCAA hit well over 400 users viewing the week the demo was released. It's about to hit the stores, natural surge in traffic. In a month the roles will be reversed.

Yeah, as the guy above said, NCAA traffic always goes up this time of year.

The main reason for NCAA forum having most of the viewers right now is because the release of ncaa 11 is only 5 days away. I see nothing wrong with that. Madden forum numbers will look like ncaa forums in a few weeks from now. That's the way it always been in the past.

But I think part of that is the general lack of promoting last year. I remember Ian mentioned OS several times last year at press conferences etc. Also not to stir up any trouble but amount of banned people has spiked considerably over the last few weeks. So maybe also OS is trying harder to limit things like spammers and trolls.

I think that the madden numbers have been down though. Not as much traffic as usual thats just me.

I remember last year when NCAA came out it had way more viewers, like hundreds more, than Madden. It will switch when Madden comes out.
