Not from the videos I have seen.
Look at pic 4 and 5 in this thread http://www.operationsports.com/vBulletin/madden-nfl-football/421399-face-you-will-see-most-madden11.html. You have played 4 seconds and you see the exact same cutscene except people have changed seats and swapped clothes. I can't see how that could be touted as less generic.

more team specific crowd chants/sounds..."vikes horn"..."go pack go" type stuff

Actually I remember A dev say they added jerseys and to the 2D modeled crowd for Madden 11. They said that was a big improvement to the overall crowd features.

It really is a shame that they charged for them last year and are giving them away this year. I got them for free when my PS3 was up and running from that Reebok code that was posted here, but I refused to pay anything for them when I had to switch over to Xbox.

Possible.

I know one thing. I could really do without that dance that the fan in the stands does before every single game. Sometimes it's goatee man. Sometimes it's the black guy, but in every single video it's the same opening scene. The dance looks silly the first time. After 20 times, it's just ridiculous. Don't know if it's just the build that they had at E3 or if that's in the retail, but I hope not.

They would be better off just doing generic pans across the crowd in a section of the stadium and have random fist pumping or clapping or conversations going on. Or even have them all just sitting and doing nothing. I would rather that then they try and come up with a cool fan cutscene that repeats every single time.
