I'm kinda hoping that someone found a blog somewhere or asked a dev or Ian via twitter and they confirmed that the IR issue was fixed for Madden 11. This way we can have a realistic franchise and when a player gets injured, by placing him on IR ..not only does it free up the cap for that year but it also frees up a roster spot.

Someone please tell me they have good news and it's been fixed. Not sure how it broke. It was working in Madden 09 I believe...wasn't it?

IR will probably & hopefully be a component into the great franchise madden claims to try to bring in 12'
If they re write the code up from scratch. I will just be like beginning franchises with bugs since itd be new code and etc...
I doubt it will be in 11' actully you could probably mark my words it wont be in M11.

All I know at this point is that they have a tweaked some things in madden 11. But I don't they have confirmed if IR was fixed are not. I will will search for the answer for you. If I find anything then I will post it for you.

the IR issue is bigger than just a quick fix i believe. Would be great if it is...But i dont have much faith that it will be addressed.

Franchise was barely touched this year so im guessing that IR is still not going to be fixed, bummer!

What is the problem with IR in Madden 10? Is it the fact that you can't sign other players to fill your roster when a player is injured? Or do you want to see stuff like Probable, Questionable, Doubtful, and then you have to make a decision on whether or not to play the player?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but i though putting a player on IR didn't free cap space, it just frees a roster spot.

Though the point is moot now, with the absence of a salary cap.
