NCAA Online Pass blocks out non US gamers. For Madden, too?

Europeans which imported NCAA 11 report that the code for the NCAA online pass is not recognized if the gamer profile is located outside of the US.
Users can only get it to work if they create an illegal US gamer profile.

i fear that this will affect Madden gamers too, since Madden 11 is not released worldwide (in Europe for example only in the UK).

I think it will be okay. NCAA isn't released anywhere in Europe so in theory, a UK gamer shouldn't have it.

Madden will be. Although I seem to remember there being huge issues with online franchise codes last year....

Wrong. I get it in Ireland and am sure it's released all over Europe and the world. The problem with NCAA is it's only released in the States so there is only a server for American accounts. Makes sense.

Got the problem in Madden here in France. I try with a fake ID and it works.
Hope it's fixed when the game will be out in France
