Default Speed being changed to "normal" via Ian.

On slow and very slow I notice better blocking, and its easier to run into the running lanes. I see animations play out that I don't see on normal. I play the cpu on normal, OD on slow, it makes a huge difference. Kane's right on that 1.

Agree, Normal should be the Default speed. But it won´t.
Slow it´s the default speed when you start the game.. don´t know when you play online though.

Well that's what this thread is about, Ian said for online it will be normal speed.

Good...I'm afraid I would nod off playing on slow...as someone said...NFL is a fast game and you don't have all day to make decisions on every pass or every run. Know your routes, make your read and get rid of the ball....when running, know your play and hit the hole or make an a quick adjustment. I was SO pissed last year when they changed it from normal to slow online....I was still trying to get over the surprise accelerated clock they threw in with 5 minute quarters at the beginning. I really thought I was done with Madden at that time. I kept playing but we have a damaged relationship right now...maybe this Madden 10.5 will get us back on the right page.

Ask any other sim player I have gotten to play on very slow in NCAA, they all agree.

Normal isn't realisitic, its aboslutely ridiculous what the players can do in that game on normal.
