Default Speed being changed to "normal" via Ian.

I've converted everyone else, you're not far off giles! I still like slow but to me slow feels still a bit too quick.

I play on Slow, but I also don't play online so I don't really care.

And can we stop with the "if normal isn't the most realistic then why call it normal" stuff? Normal is the traditional Madden 06-09 default speed. That's what it means. It doesn't mean that normal is the most realistic.

regardless of what speed this plays on, have any of you noticed that there a certain chugginess to the game when players interact on tackles?....it just doesnt have that buttery smooth fluidness that it had in a few of the previous versions....It seems like the frame is starting to struggle at times to keep up with all the action, animations, audio, lighting rendering, etc.

Its not like a huge sludge....but even the slightest hit in framerates and inconsistencies can be visually distracting and noticeable

Am I crazy or are you guys observing this too?

In what world does the crappy game "almost" plays decent equal realistic? The game "may" give you a better experience on slow, but fast is far more realistic in terms of speed and that is a fact.

Although, let's be honest - it doesn't matter one blanking bit because the game is so flawed in so many areas;
Animations
Player models
player strides
the ball physics - meaning the complete lack of
franchise - really the only reason to play - you know to win the SB
sucks!!!!!
playbooks suck hard
very little customization
and that thing(list of stuff) they will fix next year
and on and on...
