For the record, the right trigger still puts the QB in scramble mode.
Hey Adem, if this is the case how come I can hold RT and still pass? I guess I just didn't notice enough of the animation lol. The only way to get yards this year scrambling is up the middle...OL play still needs a lot of work

I had a 20 yard scramble with Manning yesterday that kind of worried me, actually. I also had a scramble to the right in which I got a dump off to a TE when his cover guy broke off to get me.

I've had no trouble scrambling except when the defense has been in a contain (not the actual "Contain" assignment, but audibling the defensive line to "pass", which creates a very realistic contain scheme for the d-line)

when madden had the scramble and run thing everyone would be mike vick and he would rush for 150 yards per game.

Because you're behind the LOS, that's the way it's been in Madden I know for sure atleast dating back to M10. Cross the line of scrimmage then you'll get ball carrier options.

Playing the demo for the first time yesterday, I had the complete opposite experience.
I used the Colts and just out of boredom, I was able to scramble outside of the pocket numerous times only being sacked once. Another time I was hit and the ball fell short and the other few times, I was able to plant my feet (with more time if I needed it) and make a pass down field.

And what is hard about that? Scrambling with the QB in this game is pretty easy.

I just take that as someone uses scrambling as a primary weapon.

Not saying you do but that's how I take it.
I'd have no problem with people opting for scrambing as a 1st option if the games engine allowed them to be punished for it. Like I said in my prior post, scrmbling is only cheese because of deficiencies in the blocking interactions. The de's don't automatically disengage when trying to run the opposite way of the block. The only way this could happen is if there was a hold. So either the block should disengage and the de smashes the qb, or the block doesn't disengage and holding flags fly.
