Man Lock-off/on-Shade and Bump individual Wr's

This is what we should be complaining about with the pad. It doesn't have these features!!!!

Madden 10 was the first next gen I bought and hated the change from PS2 pre snap. But I dealt with it and learned. Everyone will learn eventually but these 3 missing features to the pad really help with the defensive deficiencies in the game.

Re: Man Lock-off/on-Shade and Bump individual Wr's

This has been my big thing, that and tiered playbooks. This would have sold me on Madden 11, even after learning that franchise was largely unchanged. I think that the individual coverage would add so much in the way of strategy to the defensive side of the ball. For a cycle that was supposed to be dedicated soley to gameplay at the expense of franchise updates, progressive lighting and a myriad of other things, I have been frankly underwhelmed.

Don't forget the 1st down marker zone as well, I thought htatw as very useful on the PS2.

I agree with all of you. I have wondered why these features have been left out for so long. I've also wondered why these features never made it into NCAA.
