Go play Madden 11's demo.

Pay attention to the wording in the Gameflow Coach's instructions.

95% of the time he will tell you if it is a pass or run.

For example, watch this video:

Notice on the first play he says:

Pressure the QB into making a bad throw.

So obviously the AI is going to pass.

Interesting. Did you verify it throughout the game? I turned off the coach commentary after the first drive.

I've noticed it in the demo, but moreso in obvious passing downs, which makes sense. It also isn't accurate in this regard 100% of the time. I'll have the note about it being play-action, when it ends up being a run; and vice versa.

I'll need to wait until I actually buy the game to test out more teams, obviously, but I don't know that it qualifies as an "enormous flaw" just yet.

This why I really don't listen to him. I will be turning it off when I get the game pretty much. The voice in the mic getts annoying after a game or 2 anyway.
