Is sprinting completely automatic?

I feel like my players are just slower than everyone else.. Is there any way to turn on the sprint button in the full version or is this how it is going to be?

yes its off by default u can turn it on in the game options in the demo and im assuming in the retail version player speed basis off how fast ur player will go as well as other attrubuites

After some debate as to whether the Auto-Sprint actually was up to you of the CPU - it's confirmed that the CPU decides. NOT YOU. There was the thought that moving the stick 100% in any direction made you sprint that direction... NOPE. CPU Decides.

If you're like me and can't trust the CPU, you can turn Auto-Sprint OFF in the Demo and the retail version. In the Demo, start a game... After the 1st play, hit Pause and change the option in the Settings.

The game feels better with the sprint and you won't be missing the "POWER TACKLE" button like when Auto-Sprint is ON.

Yeah, I much prefer being able to control the sprint. But what is this Power Tackle you speak of?

i dont even get why they put it in ncaa and madden its ********. it should be off first with the option to turn it on

Do you have a link where this was confirmed? Not saying i need a link for proof or anything, just I got a diff answer for either Ian or Donny via Twitter! From what I got the auto sprint worked exactly the way say it doesnt? I was told it was like NHL witch means you sprint when you have the stick held ALL the way in the direction you are going!
