It isn't a big deal on its own, but it just symbolizes what has been wrong with Madden on Next Gen: Lack of Quality Control. Instead of wasting time implementing the "Strategy Stick" or "Rewind" and other gimmicks that come and go every year, they should just focus on the core issues with the game and fix them.

Just for the record, I trashed the demo and am loving the retail. And this year it's most definitely a huge difference from demo to retail. Ask anyone who has the retail game.

Real easy to hindsight just about anything in life, including Madden.

Actually, Phil mentioned in that ipodcast that Collingsworth came in and did the QB storylines for the year and next year he will come in with Gus to do new audio.

I thought I read the EA put in over 6,000 lines for Gus.

Heck, college football, I have the lines memorized before they say it.

I have the same feeling. Retail is just better in every possible way.
