The word "however" should not be used to start a sentence unless as in the meaning, "However you look at it..." or "However we get there...". Otherwise, the proper form is to say, "I, however, have absolutely ZERO desire to even play Madden this year."

I am usually super excited the weekend before release day but this year I am not. I agree that it feels weird this year. To quote a thread from a month ago, NCAA stole Maddens thunder for me. I'm sure I will get it at somepoint but I am not the least bit excited.

This year's game is amazing to me right now. The early copy that I have I have been playing non stop. The game feels so much better than it did last year...

I feel basically the same way. With the exception of last year (I drove 2 hours to buy the game a week early), I have reserved my copy and been at the Gamestop midnight releases. This past year has been a trying one for me though, when it came to money. I have been reading a lot of stuff on Madden but my priorities are a lot different now. I'm more concerned about how much I'm gonna put out on groceries this week rather than putting out $60 for the game. But fortunately I have squared away those issues for this week and will be picking up the game. Haha. I'm more excited about the NFL season starting. I'm just not as hype about this games as previous years. And I also love NCAA 11 like you OP, I don't think Madden will be better than that game.

I have always loved playing Madden. I bought NCAA11 this year and like others am probably not going to buy Madden this year. Alot easier to say now before the game is out then it will be next week. First I don't see any real huge improvements over last years game. Second NCAA11 is in a league of its own now and I really don't think madden can compete with it this year.We will see how long I can hold out without buying Madden, hopefully till 12 comes out. Time will tell.
