Petition to get the accelerated clock in the final 2 minutes via patch

Dear Madden Developers, is it possible to emulate NCAA 11 clock acceleration before the end of the halves? Whenever the offense huddles, the clock eats 10 seconds, which justifies a no huddle or a timeout: leaving it the way it is the huddle is even quicker than a no huddle, and good bye simulation.....

Thanks for your attention anyway.

I totally agree. I see why accelerated clock doesn't operate in the final 2 min of each half. But make us suffer for going to the huddle instead of running a no-huddle offense if we make that decision.

Cosign... this would be great.

Unfortunately I don't see it happening. EA actually asked us for a poll on the accelerated clock before Madden 10, and a full-game clock won by a wide margin. Clearly they have their own reasons not too, though I couldn't say what they are.

Signed. Been wanting an accelerated clock for end of halves since the beginning of acc clock.

I remember that poll but was it specifically for the last 2 minutes of halves?

Nope... don't agree. I like that the final minutes slow down some. Adds to the experience for me.

I understand the end of game "excitement" but it's still ridiculous. At the moment the last 2 minutes are played far longer percentage wise than the rest of the game.

There is no 2 minute warning, in Madden it's actually about a 4-6 minute warning. And the CPU is in hurry up mode all that time. I can take a realistic amount of time but I can't force the CPU to do so.

Besides, why not make it optional?

Absolutely agree, I'd love this addition.

You could say with all the stoppages in real life football that a 2 minute warning turns into more like a 10min warning.

I personally like that it slows down and the final 2min you can take advantage of every second you get, you are not getting 10-25seconds runoff automatically.
