the renovate option is disabled..and the stadium is 80 years old...why is it disabled? its not like there isn't enough funds because the upgrade and rebuild options are there....anyway...does anyone know?

Here's my theory: The stadium has just been renovated/upgraded last year. That's the only thing I can think of.

New Soldier Field is "State of the Art" already. It's ugly as hell (they completely defiled that poor stadium), sadly, but it's still "State of the Art." It's too early to renovate it.

I love this game...

The Bears ruined a Treasure Chest and The city of Philly ruined it's fans with there new stadium... Why just leave well enough alone?

Well, Soldier Field had to be ficed up to comply with OSHA, and the Vet was falling apart. BUT, both "improvements" were steps backward. They could have handled it better, by simply repairing the Vet and Soldier, instead of completely destroying them (literally or essentially).
