I am playing as the Giants in franchise mode.
I decided to put Umenyiora on the trading block because Jason Pierre-Paul is a great player.
I was asking for a first round pick.
I went to trade with the Raiders. I was able to get 2 first round picks and a 2nd.
No team would ever do that trade because he is already 30 and he isn't worth that much.

You're still able to abuse trading picks in Week 17. I can't believe that hasn't been fixed yet.

The easy fix for that is to set 'Trade Deadline' to ON.

True, but that still doesn't justify it being there to begin with.
