3-4 vs 4-3

Which one are you guys running this year? And why?
I personally have found it difficult running the 3-4 this year due to OLBs not getting pressure

i use 3-4 because the team i use has better linebackers than linemen.

yeah it has a lot of good blitzes plus you should crash the line depending on how the QB is playing.

I ran one year with the lions in franchise running a 4-3. It was alright, now though I am using the chiefs running a 3-4. I really could use a good pass rushing LB on my squad. I did pick up adalius thomas in the offseason and tamba hali is alright but neither is really a top notch pass rusher at this point. My D-line does have a couple decent players and derrick johnson has made a couple plays here and there and I picked up a tremendous DT who I move back and forth between nose tackle and DE but the chiefs are kinda void of any star talent. Really looking for a great rush LB in this next draft which should help with pressure.

I do get decent pressure from my line and if I mix up the blitzes I get occasional sacks, especially with my backfield as I have some very good players there.

You have to hyper blitz for the 3-4 to be anywhere near useful.

Contrary to popular belief, you dont have to blitz like mad, to play a effective 3-4

In the 3-4, do the OLB's get most of the sacks? If so, how many?

i fantasy drafted to mess around, i like the 3-4 and letting LBs run wild with three giant men on the line... seems to play well for my style, but i think it's a case of to each his own
