CPU Teams in Franchise Mode
Is there anyway to keep CPU controlled teams from signing "big-name" free agents?

I'm talking about besides controlling all 32 teams.

Just from a realistic standpoint, for example, I don't want Kevin Mawae to sign with the Redskins until at least after the first season. I would just like to keep the rosters realistic for the first season and then anything can happen after that. Kind of like real life.

Could you just edit the players you don't want signing with other teams to positions they suck at?

I don't see a problem with this. However, I do see a problem that CPU teams cant trade with themselves.

I just edit all the original free agents below 80 so they don't sign to a team. They are overrated in the first place.
