Quick question about potential

I am doing a franchise. Drafted a QB in the 7th round. His potential is a F. He is a 50. Is there any chance of that improving? Or does F mean he will always be a 50?

Re: Quick question about potential

The only time I have ever seen potential change is when I changed positions of a low rated player... Low rated QB who was an F improved to a C, and jumped 20 points when I moved him to HB.

Re: Quick question about potential

I had a WR in Madden 10, he was tall and big so I really wanted to use him, but his potential was a D every year and it never changed, even though I used him as my #1 receiver and he finished in the top 10 in yardage and TD's year in and year out.

Re: Quick question about potential

I like to think of potential simply as how high a player's ceiling can get..

it's why you would see guys in their 50s or 60s with A potential meaning given 2 years or more that player would be a good one

I myself have a player like that on my team, he's an undrafted rookie the cpu signed off the fa pool and he's a 66 OVR but A potential

a monster of a DT ... in a few years, of course, haha
