When to start a franchise?

I wait until opening day rosters are out at least to start a franchise I get the game for franchise play. That being said I heard there already Bern one patch will other patches that come will you have restart your franchise? What I'm asking last year I waited till almost nov to start a franchise with patch issues etc. Can you start sept this year and a patch you can download and not have to restart franchise thanks everyone.

I don't think there has ever been a patch that forced you to restart your franchise.

patch should not make you start a new franchise. I am also however caught up on when to start my Charger Franchise. I know a new update will come out including missing players however I am sure that update will probably remove Vincent Jackson and Marcus McNeill. Then I will start that and they will eventually sign, new update comes out and they will be added back in making me start over again. So I'm torn, I could always create the missing guys, I guess that is an option but who knows.

I'm definitely waiting for the 1st roster update of the regular season which I'll tweak to add missing players and hopefully by then we will also have some sort of idea of the patch(es) and the status of when they are coming.

I think there were in the past you had to restart your franchise I'm sure that happened. I think I wait till at least opening day roster like you said people yet to sign. There others that get cut etc

I will probably start a muck around franchise for now and start my real one when the rosters/patch comes out.
