Hi guys,
I was wonderings could any of you give me an answer for this. I know when a qb is sacked on a pass play, the yardage gets deducted from the passing yards. If he gets sacked on a play-action pass, does it go down as a negative rush for the qb?(like Madden 11). I thought it was always the passing yards that got amended.
Just noticed this playing the game, and you guys would be more knowledable than myself. Thanks

Any sack always goes down as negative Team passing yards, whether play action or not.

NCAA considers sacks negative rushing yards for the Player.

I just got sacked by a play action. It was counted properly.

Weird? Maybe sometimes it counts it correctly, other times not. Strange

Just double check and get sacked a bunch of times.

Can't think why else it would give the qb a run for minus 8 yds?

The game usually gives minus rushing yards if the QB gets tackled before the fake handoff. Did that happen?
