It did not feel like a totally different game. Last year was the introduction of the Infinity Engine to the franchise and this year saw them take the engine and improve on it to create Infinity Engine 2. As soon as you begin to play, it does seem like they took a lot of the input from fans and fixed some of the major complaints from last year (i.e. players falling all over the field constantly). While it does not feel completely different game, it does feel like an improved product over last year.
