10 or 11 and why?

I really had no intention on buying Madden 11 this year. I was still playing Madden 10, which I picked up at launch and really, really enjoyed and didn't see a reason to upgrade. Well, thanks to my wife (she bought me Madden 11), I can now weigh in on this subject:

If money is no object then Madden 11 is the way to go. The improved OL/DL interaction, WR/DB interaction, removal of the turbo button, team-specific chants, actual licensed music that's played at NFL stadiums (not all, but it's a good first effort), Gameplan and Gameflow and Locomotion give Madden 11 a distinct edge over Madden 10. If you adjust sliders right, you can get a good defensive game offline as well.

Again, that's not to slight Madden 10, which was a HUGE leap forward from what we were given from 06-09. If you don't want to pay $60 for Madden 11, you can likely find Madden 10 for less than $20 and you will enjoy yourself.

Only to the people that were saying M10 was better then bad mouthing M11 (or M10) or basing their decision off of things that barely affect the game at all (like ugly create-a-team logos???), yes that is a *****. If you like M10 or M11 and support your decision based on things that are crucial to any football game, no that is not a *****.

No defense and kick returns kinda affect the game quite a bit. The createion logos are the exact same in '10 & '11, so I'm not sure where you got your example from.

There are a few nice things about '11. I like the sideline catches and the removal of the turbo, but for every new item I like there is at least one that I do not. They broke as much as they fixed this year, and to me that is not worth an additional $40 (difference between buying '11 vs. '10).

Fwiw, 10 out of the box wasn't nearly the product it was once it was patched TWICE. Assuming EA makes similar strides I think the finished product will be very different than the one we're playing right now.
