I think your overlooking some things. Besides Alstott, which does seem odd, some of these guys will definitely be better based on the fact that they are no longer rookies. Ramsey for example. Even though his numbers weren't great he wasa rookie and will only get better this year after playing. I think it's good his numbers are slightly better. Obviously some of these rating are based on the potential of what these guys could do this year. Same with some of the other younger guys. It's alos one of the reasons to have roster updates. Guys have good years that aren't expected too and also the opposite. If you feel that strongly about a guy being that much off then you can change the ratings yourself. I think this game has always been setup, at least on the PS2, to be as close to accurate as they can but still allow people to customize ratings and such however they see fit. That's why i like these games. They know they can't please everyone so they make the game adjustable.

Eddie George 88-89 I just looked up his Stats and HE WAS NEVER GREAT
EVEN BEFORE HIS LAST 2 HORRIBLE SEASON HE WAS A 3.8990 yards per carry RB and before last year was fumlbing 5.3333333 times a year. Did have a good WR in 99-00.

You are way too obsessed with just looking at certain stats and declaring that players aren't very good. Saying that Eddie George wasn't good before the last two seasons is a joke. He was one of the top 5 rushers in the league pretty much every year. His average wasn't as high because he ran the ball about every offensive play. The Titans passing attack was so weak that defenses just crowded the line waiting on the run and he still averaged almost 4 per carry. Inform yourself before you make stupid comments based on certain statistics that YOU deem important.

Marc Bulger 50 in 03 now a 83.
Wow. But thats too much cause Bulger didn't play much.

What the hell are u talking about, Bulger saved the Rams last year. Sure they went 8-8, but if it wasn't for him, they'd have a top ten pick in this years draft! That rating is fine!

I don't see how anyone could have a problem with Patrick Ramsey's rating, either. It looks about perfect to me.

Um, actually, Mike Rumph should be punished for playing. The guy should have the lowest rating of any DB in Madden history. I know I've never seen someone that inept on the field. He made Elvis Patterson look competent.

And Michael Vick is not overrated. His completion percentage was low last year, but he was playing with the worst set of receivers in football. And his physical ability simply can't be overstated.
