I don't know how the niners got an 85 on D.There defense was horrific man people were putting points on them like crazy they should be like an 78 or something.

WELL IMM TYPING LIKE THIS SO U ALL CAN SEE IT! MADDEN THIS YEAR DID SOMETHING VERY SMART, THEY RATED ALL TEAMS EQUAL NO TEAM IS UNDER 76 OVERALL (CARDINALS) BECAUSE ANY TEAM CAN WIN ON ANY GIVEN SUNDAY. PLAYER RATINGS HAVE BEEN BUMPED UP FOR THE MOST PART. ALOT OF PLAYERS HAVE ALOT OF RATINGS ACCORDING TO LAST YEARS RATING SYSTEM THAT WOULD MAKE THEM EXTREMELY OVERRATED. REMEMBER MADDEN SAID "WE HAVE REWORKD THE WHOLE RATING/PROGRESSION SYSTEM."

I am changing Vick's first. Way Over-Rated but we touched on it.

The 49er defense was very banged up at the end of the year, which accounted in part for their poor performance. But Rumph took putrid to a whole new level. He singlehandedly undid every defense, because there was nowhere to hide him on the field. He was shockingly, shockingly bad.

And Michael Vick is not overrated. His completion percentage was low last year, but he was playing with the worst set of receivers in football. And his physical ability simply can't be overstated.

I love the ratings because everyone wont use the same team now since the teams are on a more even playing field because I went to a madden 2003 tourney and everyone was using Rams, Eagles, Steelers, or Bucs and it was boring as hell playing the rams over and over again and the player ratings are nice too they finally game McNair some Luv with a 93 and Bullock with a 90 instead of the 69 they gave him last year
