CPU Quick Snap Every Play

This is something that needs to be addressed in the patch.

It's 2010 and there is no reason for the CPU to quickly snap the ball as soon as they get to the line on every play.

You never have time to audible or move your defense around - you barely have time to observe the set the offense is in and think about any adjustments.

Turn off accelerated clock. That is how I have always played and then today I read that Ian said this is a work around for now. I have never had a problem with this at all.

I never use accelerated clock, the problem isnt the cpu short snapping its the awkward and cumbersome strategy pad. with the strategy pad you just dont have enough time to do what you want period. You'd need the cpu to wait 15 seconds before snapping every snap to adjust everything, you could do it in 3 seconds with the old controls. Thats the real problem.

cpu quick snapping is great.

Way better than the fiasco of waiting 10 seconds before every play. Which extended gametime by 50%!

there should be a max timeout of something like 6-8 seconds before the CPU snaps the ball, but they shouldn't do it while your still inputting defensive adjustments on the controller. instead, the ball should be snapped 1 second after last button press with that max time of 6-8 seconds

Ian did mention that under no accelerated clock the an does take along time to snap. Also for the user who was talking about the strat pad, we all know it's different but it's a learning experience. If you can memorize which button does what it'll be much smoother

with the cpu quick snapping the ball it's impossible to do my individual coverages, and i never use accelerated clock and never have so ian's wrong saying that the cpu won't quick snap so you'll have time for adjustments.

So in your case just memorize the strat pad. Should take no more than a few seconds to make all the changes
