PSP madden playbooks are so much better. Why?

I don't understand why they don't just carry those same playbooks from the PSP over to next gen consoles. There's tons more run formations (jumbo-T), plays with pre-snap movement and loads more trick plays. They even have the Antwaan Randel-El, WR reverse pass that the Steelers ran in the superbowl 5 years ago in the game.

This year's madden -- for next gen at least -- is watered down with play variety, outside of a handful of teams.

I think they did this to make it simpler, and gameplay faster...the problem is the lack of plays in M11 were a large part of why I gave my copy away. They said that most people only called so many plays. That may be true, but I think a lot of the old plays became exploits next-gen, or just didn't work.

Can you create plays on the PSP again and use them on PS3?
