Lack of another Professional football franchise hurts Madden

Madden NEEDS competition from another Professional football franchise. Madden was at its best and actually improving from year to year when it was being somewhat battled by NFL2k. Now that it no longer has a legit contender Madden settles for few improvements each year and is more willing to take unnecessary risks(QB vision, GameFlow, Strategy Pad, just a few...) because they know in the end the game still sells because there is no other Professional football game for gamers to turn to... EA owns rights to NFL player licenses, so they can dish out mediocre games year after year and be content with it. Because what are gamers gonna do, turn to Backbreaker? I dont think so. EA is scared of Madden having competition so theyll continue to pay whatever it takes to own rights to NFL player licenses.

Sorry dude, gotta agree with capp. It's the same old song and dance, it is what it is and it's time for us to just let it go.

Talk is cheap, man
In the end, you're just going to have to stop buying Madden. They don't care if you like the game or not. They just want your money.

It's obvious that Madden needs competition from even the most diehard of EA fans, but there are MILLIONS of posts like this. Surely you could have found one via search.

Agreed. In before closed.

What does the OP expect? "Oh yes sir, you are right! Oh lordy, I'm glad someone finally brought this up. I never thought of it like that before." Okay... that was a little too much... but it's just frustrating to see these pop up every other morning when I sign in.
