More info regarding recent/future Madden NFL 11 updates

The fact remains that these issues should have been tested adequately and fixed prior to release. They are using the consumer base as paying beta testers. Their quality assurance is a huge weakness and by all appearances they have no intention of changing that.

I disagree. EA enjoys the luxury of having consumers who believe this is acceptable, unfortunately. Furthermore, games back in the day may have had their niggles, but weren't ridiculously broken as they are released now. Generally speaking, the Maddens released on last-gen consoles were fairly complete comparatively speaking.

In addition, Tiburon has yet to implement "tuner" sets much like the NHL series that allows them to tweak various issues without the need for patches.

Thankful? Hardly. If anything, Tiburon should be held to higher standards given the cash cow Madden is for them.
