The whole idea of difficulty levels in sports games is silly. But there are other games (StarCraft 2 most recently) where they build in ai cheats for difficulty.

Yeah I have always noticed all-pro seems fair but all-madden makes your players stupid rather than the cpu better.

I actually think that EA will get nice patch out to help make All-Madden
more playable. I really love this game but the constant broken tackles
against my defense gets me upset. I am going to hold off on sliders for
now because I am hoping for a solid patch. Now I did have a few solid
games where I held the AI to under 50 rushing yards. I play with the
Vikings and I think the Bears, Lions and Seahawks were the teams
that I shut down under 50 yards.
