I don't BELIEVE they did any tunings on the roster update...but I could be wrong. I think all they did was follow up on Ian's notion to tweak the defense by adjusting player ratings, and then follow up some of the other issues via a forthcoming patch. But what they did with the ratings was, IMO so far after two games, effective.

They probably did much more than that because Alex Smith feels like a different QB before and after these rosters came out......

Did you happen to notice if his overall went up? They boosted Hasselbeck a couple of points because he's been playing better last two weeks.

Its not that hard, if you have a good secondary and you control the slot cb or safety.
Usually people online like to exploit the middle of the field, learn to manually cover the middle with a CB and you'll be locking down most people online. Most people online are pretty predictable, they like to like to throw to one area of the field, rarely will you see someone who scans the whole field.

I didnt see any changes in the ratings for the niners. I saw ziggy and westbrooks. I just dont understand why is delanie walker so underrated in madden. This guy has the speed of a receiver and makes plays all the time. Ziggy ratings are also wrong, until ginn got here he was our fastest receiver. I looked at the tackling ratings for the DB's and they look the same.

Right now Rodgers should be on the very top of the list. He looks INCREDIBLE!!!!!!

He looks like a video game out there with a 100 on arm strength, awareness , and accuracy.

i agree i've noticed this too, more specifically my pass defense doesn't suck as bad as it used to. in fact i held the cardinals to 2 field goals yesterday playing 10 minute quarters. and no i don't play on rookie or pro, i haven't used those difficulties since i first started playing madden in 93
