the ai calling base defensive sets against 3 4 and 5 wr sets has to be patched. Im an offline against the cpu player, and it really makes the game unplayable to me. 2 corners on the field against 3 4 and 5 wr sets is not good you can score at will. Wheres the challenge in that? Hope the upcoming patch fixes this. By the way these are play now games, not into franchise. I know about the gameplanning feature, I just think you should have to mess with that for such a basic thing as ai putting the right defense on the field. any input would be welcome. Thanks

Oh the CPU does it with Gameplanning also, especially on first down.

The worst part is when the CPU linebackers keep up step for step with the 90+ speed rated receivers.

yeah....and when you play online, you aren't able to do that.

It's better after the patch but I find that the game seems extremely sensitive to the sliders.

I've now sorted these out, and am getting some good, close games. Last night I beat the Jets 14-9 (one lucky pick and a very lucky final do-or-die TD with 12 seconds left) but for most of the game I couldn't get going at all. My first franchise game against 49ers was like that too.

But before that... well in my second Madden 11 game I lost to Green Bay 92 - 78 (31-31 after 1st quarter).
