Whose position do you switch in franchise mode?

A few I have experimented with:

Reggie Bush
RB 80 => WR 89

Patrick Cobbs
RB 68 => WR 75

Kevin Faulk
RB 75 => WR 80

Pat White
QB 64 => RB 70

Joseph Addai (mr. versatility)
RB 86 => FB 73 => WR 75 => TE 70

Michael Bush
RB 79 => FB 77 => TE 67

Jacob Tamme
FB 68 => TE 70

Mike Sellars
FB 84 => TE 85

Armanti Edwards
WR 64 => QB 63 (88 speed)

Brad Smith
WR 69 => RB 79 =>QB 60

Josh Cribbs
WR 78 => RB 84

Champ Bailey (after a few years in franchise this helps him stay highly rated)
CB 95 => FS 96

Shawne Merriman
OLB 84 => DE 98 => DT 97

Ernie Sims
OLB 83 => DE 91

Tamba Hall
OLB 81 => DT 93

James Farrior
MLB 88 => DT 94

imo you care too much about OVR's

I have several, but in actual gameplay you're WEAKENING them by converting them to a higher OVR rtng

specially the "LB's to DT" which is just absurd

they may have an insanely high OVR but they suck at that position

give me a DT with 99 BSH, 99 STR, 99 PMV, and 60 ovr rating over any of your LB converted DT's

I don't like doing this unless it's a switch players have done or experimented with 'in real life' but each to their own. Derrick Burgess is down as a LB, I'd have thought his rating would increase quite a bit by switching him back to end.

I tried it once with a MLB I drafted, he's low 70s ovr in his first year but jumps to a 90 ovr as a DT

he's got like 90 STR too so I figured why the hell try it out

he spent the entire game being pancaked

I remember a 55 OVR D potential LB I drafted solely for his 4.35 speed was a 70 OVR B potential FS.
