Is madden 11 worth it? To be honest MLB The Show 10 is the first reason I have not went out snd bought Madden. In the past by this point I have given up on the show and moved on to madden. I have heard mixed reviews about Madden 11. So what are your opinions out there? Do you regret buying it? Is it worth the 60 bucks? Are you enjoying it like you thought you would.

So far I have enjoyed the game. I use custom made sliders (See Madden 11 sliders) and it makes game's play out realistically. A lot of people, in my opinion, spend too much time trying to pick out little things which 'disrupt' the game. But you can only ever spot these bugs on Instant Replays in slow motion, but they barely disrupt the enjoyment anyway. Its just people looking for realism (Backbreaker type realism), but I wouldn't let that put you off, trust me.

If you like playing online, pick it up. If you're an offline franchise guy, strictly,save your money.

I'm enjoying it more than I thought I would. I did not keep '09 or '10. I returned them both within a month. '11 has been a lot of fun so far, but I play mostly online.

My opinion, there are definite improvements, namely the highly touted new blocking, but this is still an incomplete game. I would wait until the next patch then test the water.

I couldnt stand 09 (im offline player btw,hate all those cheesers and stuff online) didnt even bought 10 and im now happy with offline of 11 .
Yeah franchise lacks depth,it lacks many things but im still happy with it, finally the game is actually playable with tweaked sliders (though it isnt with default,all those 100 broken tackles a game and all that stuff is unacceptable) . So a bit work to find a best slider for you and you are good to go. (i really enjoy madden 11 more than nba 2k10 , though i love basketball and basketball video games)
