Pess Coverage
Is it just me, or after the patch, press coverage is far more effective on the left side of the field than it is on the right? I have corners with 90+ press coverage in my exported teams [from a fantasy draft] and I find over and over again that the corner responsible for the WR on the right side of the field loses his press far more often and worse than the left side corner[s.] I recall in Madden 10 where receivers would break to the right better than they would to the left. This resulted in receivers on the left side of the field being good at post routes and In routes while WRs on the right side of the field were good at flag routs and Out routes. That was, until a patch. Also, in Maddne 10 and again in Madden 11 people are talking about how LEs are far more effective in pass rushing than REs are.
Before the patch, i was able to use the Jets and Double the X receiver while leaving the Z receiver on "Revis island" 1 on 1. now I find it better to put Revis on the number two and call double Z plays to contain the primary. I mean, that isn't a bad strategy anyway, but the point is that I find the Z eceiver is far more effective at beating the presss and getting super wins than the X or Y receivers are. Has anyone else noticed this as well? Or, when you want to press the receivers on a key down, is the call to put your #1 CB on their #2 WR and double their #1 WR with your #2 or #3 CB and a safety? [again, not a bad way to mix things up from time to time anyway.]
