Fight for the fumble must go!

I don't think it is supposed to show, but it is incredibly frustrating when I clearly grab the fumble (the announcers even say I do) only to have the FFTF animation start and I lost the ball and it resets the downs for the offense.

Fight for the Fumble, it's a terrible feature and poorly implemented. I don't understand how EA expect people to watch the players fight for the ball while focusing on the buttons at the bottom of the screen. When you turn them off, the outcome is completely random regardless of positioning of the players. I may have dive for the ball on the ground before the defender does but instead I don't get the ball back because I reacted faster?

FFTF doesn't make any sense and turning the feature off is just as bad as the button mashing.

I actually just had a game tonight where my guy clearly landed right on the ball, another guy on my team landed on the pile too before the first opponent got in the mix. The screen tells me my cornerback now has 1 fumble recovery, play-calling screen comes up and I'm still on defense

First time that's happened to me, weird
