Also note the lack of a big black number on each side of the helmet unlike the AFL throwbacks. I think those big black numbers looks terrible.

The Patriots 90's throwback are too dark of a blue.

The 49ers style uniforms that were in Madden 09 were just taken out instead of kept and placed as an alternate.

Honestly, forget the style guides, put in a copy of ESPN 2k5 and look at everything they have in the game. They have everything right.
