From what I have read, the GeForce 4 line is one of the two lines EA was targeting for performance so your GeForce 4 should be fine. Heck, if my PIII was a 700mhz instead of a 500, I am sure I could even play Madden on a Geforce 3 since they are supporting the Geforce 2 cards.

That poster was most likely just flat out lying, because the PC version has not yet become available anywhere (if you know what I mean), unlike the PS2 version.

Regretibly, Xbox owners will probably get live support for EA titles about the same time PC users get NCAA; after a cold front moves through hell.

If you put enough monkeys in a room with a typewriters, they can eventually by chance write Shakespere (not that that is true); the point was that EA would get there sometime.
