Mike Alstott is way overatted in real life and it looks like in Madden also. I think 78 is too low, but 93? You breathe on that guy and he fumbles. Wasn't rushing the only real weakness of the Bucs last year? He isn't a good blocker, and he is too slow to be a recieving threat or a full time halfback, so what good is he?

My only real complain is on the Cowboys they got Randall Williams as having like 90 speed when the guy has ran a 4.18 40 time and from what i've heard has outrun Newman (who's speed in Madden is 97) in practice very badly at times on fly routes. IMO Williams speed should be at least 98. Now as for his OVR rating that's a whole other issue..heh.

Pennington's an 88, which I wont say is too low, but I will say some of the people who are higher than him really don't deserve it. Tom Brady is higher than him and Pennington had a much better season and is a better QB, Kurt Warner is higher and we all know the problems of Warner, but since his previous seasons were good I won't complain too much but what really gets me upset is that Aaron Brooks is higher than him. I mean Brooks is garbage, he had an awful last year after having a mediocre year before and he did not do well in the big games.

Give Pennington another year to really show what he can do, Brooks garbage? Ha, i won't even comment on that one. And oh yeah, Tom Brady won a SUPERBOWL as a first time starter....end of story.

No seriously, last week you had at least 4 threads complaining about Madden ratings. Cry me a river

The [good] point has already been made -- as a whole, the player ratings in Madden are obviously inflated across the board. Like Erv said, if you don't like the ratings, THEN CHANGE THEM. I'm tired of hearing this and that player is crappy...your next step would be take it EA.
