I don't know if stats had anything to do with the ratings, but here are the top 3 average rushing yards per game for the 2002 season:

Williams 115 ypg
Holmes 115 ypg
Tomlinson 105 ypg

Although I do believe they should be very close in ratings.

Yeah, but Holmes had possibly the best O-Line in the NFL, while Tomlinson had something that was not to good.
