During the offseason I let one of my players go and now when I go into the free agents he is no longer there. There are players available that are higher rated then him and when i checked all the other teams he wasnt signed by them. So does that mean that he is totally gone and cant be found?

There's usually a certain allotment of people that can be held in FA almost like a roster limit, if you will. A lot of times if players are really low rated, they disappear.
