having Madden become more arcade is stupid! Having both sim and arcade modes would be a better solution.

I see his point, though I would add that coaching or having access to coaches/players would be almost as good. There's no denying that playing experience would help. Knowing what players would be responsible for & keying on & programming the game that way would address many issues.

Either way, you can't program a simulation of football without understanding what you see on Sundays. I always use the stunts as an example. Whoever programmed them did not know the goal of a stunt. It's more than just 2 d-linemen crossing like they aimlessly do in Madden.

the point is that game does not represent the real thing just like madden doesn't either.

you really think you can run across a street in a war like we do in cod or take 10 bullets then RESPAWN.......

ANYWAY.... its a legit concern, these guys are tech guys, lets hope the use consultants but if you were a real fan some things would have never made it in the final game that we have seen..

I agree with you. At this point just turn Madden into a blitz type game, and then start developing a "real" NFL game. I'm sick of EA selling "It's in the game" to me when it is clearly not. At least if they made Madden into an arcade game, it wouldnt be half-assed, and all the unbelievable crap and arcadish gameplay we see in it would be acceptable since its meant to be like that.
