REAL FIELD DEGRADATION!

so out of sheer boredom and desperate to just have a fun game of throwdown football a buddy of mine and i rented blitz the league 2. now...this is totally against all my madden and sim football principles, but figured ah lets take a madden break and just mess around. you know what? we had a freakin blast and i'm still playing the franchise mode...BUT...what stood out the mode was the progressive weather effect, something i would LOVE to see in madden (yes i know, dead horse) and found a couple great examples to demonstrate the potential next gen has to render weather.

at this stage in the game its long past due personally i think it really sets up great atmosphere...where some games are a little wet and some are just a mud bowl. some are so snowy you can't see the hash marks and others are a frozen tundra. anyway, take a gander at what midway has done with progressive weather and picture a more 'toned down' realistic version for madden 12...mmm...tasty.
