I'm a long time video game football player and every since pro teams were available to select, I've gone with my Cowboys. I've owned about every Madden, NFL2K, etc. and I've never used another team.

I will always be a huge Cowboys fan, even if the last few years have been trying. I'm just looking for a new team to bring back the fun factor when I pick up Madden come Tuesday. I will probably run with the Cowboys in owners mode as I doubt I can do as bad a job as Jerry Jones, but I'm hoping to get a fresh look while playing on the field.

Certain teams are of limits as I have a natural hate for them (Redskins, Eagles, Raiders, Broncos). I was thinking about giving Green Bay a shot or maybe Atlanta to see what all the Vick fuss is about.

Who are you running with and why? If this is the wrong board, I apologize.

I like the Jags. They've got sweet unis, Hugh Douglas, Leftwich, and imo a lot of potential. Plus they beat the Broncos in 1996.

Yeah, if you used the Chargers you could whoop up on the Raiders and Broncos 4 times a year.

Im going to go with Cleveland. I like Green and their recievers as well as there young defence. I havent played much with them in other years but I like them....plus im Bowling Green in NCAA and will import some of my players (josh harris) into the game...seems like a natural transition to me....should be fun

My favorite team is the 49ers, and I'll of course be their owner at some point (in the game I mean), but I was thinking of using a different team as well. My candidates include:

Kansas City - Priest Holmes is awesome.
Indianapolis - Would move them if I owned them.
Browns - Would be fun to build them up.
Vikings - Would be fun to put their talent to good use.
Lions - J/K. Only reason I would is to fire Mooch...

I use the Bills myself but a couple of good suggestions would be:

Ravens, solid D and a good running game.
Giants, offensively loaded and covering a good TE is the hardest thing to do in the game (IMO)

Don't play with the Falcons, everyone will think you're going to be cheezy. It will be real hard for me to expect a straight game from a player with a QB who has 95 speed.

I'm just curious about Vick and I think he could put the fun back into playing video game football. I really don't care what teams anyone uses when I play online as the teams you use don't make you 'cheese', its the player. Heck, I usually lose most games online anyway. I run and pass with varied plays and I punt on 4th. If you want an honest game, look me up.

I will keep the Charges in mind. 49ers are a no go.
