Which QB to take for my Franchise?

I did a fantasy drafted Franchise where I purposefully ignored the QB position so that I could draft a Franchise QB from this year's strong QB class. After scouting a good number of QBs, I've narrowed it down to either Andrew Luck or Jake Locker, but I can't choose between them. Locker is more of a scrambling QB, and Luck is more of a pocket passer. Here are the stats that I've got for them:

Throw Accuracy- 73
Speed- 90
Acceleration- 89
Awareness- 55
Injury- 93

Andrew Luck
Throw Power- 95
Throw Accuracy- 93
Speed- 75
Acceleration- 83
Awareness- 67
Injury- 90

I'm leaning more towards Locker just because it would give me a better option to tuck the ball and run if nothing is open. Additionally, Locker's accuracy will increase with time, but Luck's running ability won't.

The way I see it, I'd take Luck every time.

You mentioned the speed attribute for Locker being higher but Luck's 75 speed will still allow you to rush 10 yards when the defense drops back in coverage.

I believe 93 Accuracy > 73 Accuracy is the main tell here and one you'd be silly to ignore.

In my Chise, when i sort by potential, Luck is the very first guy.

A 20 point difference in accuracy between Luck and Locker. There is no decision here.

Locker is HORRIBLE in real life and it looks like he isn't so hot in your 'chise either.

You could use the Madden classes and wait for

, or one of the other white scrambling QB's and edit their name and school if you want more realistic (ratings wise) and well-made prospects.

I'd take Locker. Give him a year and his accuracy will be up 10 points. Besides, in Madden 11, accuracy ratings mean nothing. I play as the Colts and Manning is the most accurate (arguably) QB to ever play, but in Madden every other throw is 10 yards ahead of the receiver. They will play the same besides the speed. Locker will run all over defenses, and Luck won't. Locker will complete 60%, Luck will complete 60% approximately.

i would take luck. his ratings may not be the best but givin the chance he will rise to the top of the qb class in madden

Take Andrew Luck. With his throw power/accuracy in the early 90s already, he'll be a great pocket quarterback from the get-go. Also, while 75 isn't amazing for speed, you should be able to pull off a decent run with him from time-to-time.
