Will NCAA be better than Madden this year?

It's always going to have more replay value due to the differences in team skill level. Even taking the Bengals or Texans in Madden will never be as hard at trying to turn around Duke or Rutgers in NCAA, all it takes is money to improve your team in Madden, just sign FAs to instantly make your team better. You have to work harder in NCAA to improve, for this it will always have more replay value. But I'm expecting Madden's initial gameplay & franchise additions may make it the better game out of the box, but 5 months from now I'll probably be playing a lot more NCAA than Madden.

no way, ncaa beat madden last year, but i was a lil disapointed this year wit ncaa (even tho i really enjoy playing it, i was expecting more i guesss), madden has playmaker control, owner mode, creat-a-stadium, and much more thats better then college

I think MADDEN will be better simply because of Owner Mode but that's just me. I know I will be playing both games a lot as well as ESPN when it comes out.

I learned with GTA: VC not to read up on the hype or expect much, because chances are, you'll be greatly disappointed. I've played NCAA every day since I got in on the 17th, and I'm still not tired of it. I will probably prefer NCAA over Madden mainly because I prefer college athletics more than pro athletics. Nothing is more fun than beating your 100-year rival, winning the conference championship, or playing those classic games. Madden will no doubt be a very deep game, even deeper than NCAA but I still don't think it will surpass it as far as gameplay goes. Clearly, Madden will always be a step ahead of NCAA as far as graphics and options goes, but that's fine with me.
