Madden 11 Fantasy Football League
Hey Guys,
So I wanted to try something different. Fantasy football has increased every year since it's inception years ago. I want to take all that fun and bring it to Madden. I'm gonna do things a little different than your normal Fantasy League due to I want to involve as many people on these boards as I can. The best part is that all you have to do is pick your fantasy team before I simulate week 1 of Madden Franchise and even if you do nothing for the rest of your thread, your team will still be active.
So here is how we're going to do it. Here are the positions we are going to fill:

The twist and what will allow all of this to work in a message board format is that I will give you a pool of each position to choose from and you yourself pick any of the players. Just because one member picks Tom Brady doesn't mean that you can't pick him yourself. So here are the pools to choose from:

I will start this on Sunday Morning 11/14 using the most up to date roster there is. Once I finalize the amount of teams I will announce how frequent I will simulate a week of Madden (I'm thinking twice a week). You can change any of the players of your team before each "week" I simulate. If it comes to a bye week for that player's team I will automatically randomize the player to substitute for you if you don't do it yourself. Once that player's bye week has passed and you haven't sent in a change yourself I will place that original player back on your team.
So like I said, once you pick your initial team you have to do nothing and you will still be in the running. I will run the regular season to either 12 or 13 week depending on the amount of people that play. I will then have a 3-4 week playoff to determine the winner.
I will provide you with the matchup, standings, and a link to the excel file I will be using to calculate the Fantasy points. I would like you all to participate. Using default Yahoo points plus adding points per reception and points per completion. So please start posting your starting teams using the format I had above...
