Whats the difference/benefit of playing with accelerated clock?

Whats the difference or benefit of playing w/ an accelerated 15 min clock over a regular 5 min clock?

In theroy you still play a 5 min game but the clock is set to 15 min and runs down faster. so that youyr time of possession looks real like 32 mins instead of 12. the clock still runs at the regulaer time when you get to the two min. warnings. At least thats how i think it works.

No.

Accelerated clock just affects the play clock. Instead of breaking the huddle with :30 left on the play clock, at accelerates the clock whenever you pick a play so that only about :20 or less remain. Same when the computer is play calling.

I've tried 15 minutes with the accelerated clock, but the CPU snaps at :08 seconds, so I think there are too many plays being run.

I play 10 minute quarters with acc. clock. and get 50 - 60 plays a game. Whats the average in the NFL?

I play with 9 minutes, and I get about 40-45 plays a game.

IMO an accelerated clock is only good in games that don't have a lot of time stoppage like football. Lets see like huh Hockey and Soccer.

I usually play 8 mins quarters, so if i play 15 min acc clock...isnt it like playing 8 min quarters without acc clock? Time just ticks by faster, dont really get more plays off do you?

Just wondering.

Thanks
