Do people really get a kick out of importing draft classes?

I mean, the 2003 College/Nfl Season haven't even started yet, what good is having the draft classes in now?

I can see in Dec or Jan, but the game isn't even out!

Plus, most of these draft classes are made up players correct?

I just don't get it. EA goes through the troble of making the rosters accurate, and updating them, and it seams a majority of players contaminate the roster file with their own stuff anyway.

EA tries to get the Uni's right and stadiums, and it seems people can't wait to relocate to a city that doesn't have an NFL team. They can't wait to change the uniforms, etc.

Am I im the minority, or majority here?

Thoughts?

You have to save a draft class after every season you finish in NCAA otherwise you'll lose it. This way people who have already had NCAA aren't trying to play a season in both games simultaneously.

There are probably just as many, if not more, people who like having the draft classes as there are gamers who worry about the color of a team's shoes.

You're in the minority here....

There are two realy attractive things about importing draft classes. First of all - for the first four drafts - you are using (almost) all real players who actually play college football. Second - and this applies to both the real players and the fictional ones from later on - you get to stay with players who you played with in NCAA and see how they pan out in the pros. It is really enjoyable to recruit a two star player in NCAA, turn him into a star in college, and then see if you can do the same in the pros.

Bottom line - not being able to draft your NCAA players in the XBox version is a huge hit to franchise mode. I am seriously considering returning both NCAA and Madden for XBox and exchanging them for the PS2 versions (even though it's probably going to cost me a few bucks to do so for NCAA, since it has been out over a month)...

Hopefully EA will step-up and do something about this problem. Otherwise, the XBox versions are worthless in my opinion....

It is a big thing for some ppl. Especially XBOX users since they did'nt have online to begin with. Now the draft classes are screwed. Man, lucky I got both systems. Not to gloat or anything.

I'm also interested in my draft classes, and cant wait to draft my RB from Nortwstern to my Bears team.
