Re: Starting A Madden Franchise

I play with the panthers, which is just like playing in real life. i have yet to win, they have players to build around DWill's contract is up at the end of the first year and Smitty is getting old and nobody else has stepped up in the receiving core. the defense has a few good players and a couple descent. special teams suckkkkk

If you really want a challenge make a create-a-team, replace the Bills so you have to go up against your Pats.

Make the created team consists of scrubs, and through drafts try and build a dynasty.

Re: Starting A Madden Franchise

Only problem with create-a-team is that they haven't updatet or added any logos yet, so whatever logo you choose it's still gonna look like something disney made...

Bears are great for franchises Cutler sims well and the WRs are remarkably good. Peppers also got me 17 sacks a year for 3 years.

Re: Starting A Madden Franchise

Cards or Panthers, i like the bengals. i trade away carson, chad and benson. start from scratch. change the defensive schemes. if ur the bears, go to 3-4 n if ur da packs go to 4-3. then u need to find the right personel and that takes about a year or 3. on offense, change that too. if ur the pats, release brady or trade him and draft stellar running back if ur the panthers, get rid of smash and dash, or dash or smash, and get a good QB and WR. takes me a good five-ten years to become serious competitor and dont scout and i sign like maybe 2 good free agents max per year and i release some good players and overpay players so u run out of cap. sounds stupid, but keeps it challenging.

Panthers are a good choice.

Teams that need a complete overhaul or that have glaring needs(Bills,Panthers,Seattle) or a young up and coming team(Rams, TB, Lions) or your favorite teams.
i just do franchises until i win a SB, i mostly sim games. so it is less boring to improve your team than starting with a powerhouse.
