SUMMARY OF GAME

So I used Tex Dirt Bag's All Pro sliders and they immediatley improved the game...much much better compared to default, i've written out my first game and i will definatley play much more and give my thoughts

I was the 49ers vs Giants, 12 min accel quarters

Score: 49ers 31, Giants 17
To give you some reference to the stats here are the 2002 Averages of both teams offensively and defensively

SF Offense
Run 140
Pass 216
Total 356

NYG Offense
Run 117
Pass 246
Total 364

SF Defense
Run 103
Pass 219
Total 322

NYG Defense
Run 114
Pass 194
Total 309

Now for the game stats
NYG SF
Total Yards 432 265
Rush 81 124
Pass 351 141
Penalties 6/60 yards 3/25 yards
Turnovers 2 0

Pass
Garcia 15/27 (55%) 160 yrds, 2tds, long 28
Collins 23/39 (58%) 364 yards, 2tds, 2 int long of 87!!

Rushing
Hearst 18 for 64 (3.5)
Barlow 6 for 38 (6.3)
Garcia 2 for 12
Beasley 1 for 10

Barber 23 for 81 (3.5)

Now before you everyone gets all excited its important to know that i got beat by Toomer for a 72 yard td and Carter for an 87 yarder...Toomer's was legit as i had double te coverage to slow Shockey down (couldnt cover him with just Julian Peterson) and they ran a rub route into the middle of the field and he was gone, imho a good touchdown, they other one i can live with as i gambled to knock the ball down and should have just played the receiver, now take those 2 huge plays away and thats 150 passing yards and roughly their average...Also one of Collins INTs i returned 39 yards for a td. single coverage and pretty much a poor corner throw and bam i was gone, also i ran a kickoff back (my first in this version) so at the half it was 17-3 and midway through the third i had a 31-10 lead and lead them start throwing the ball more, but as you can see with Barbers 23 carries they didnt give up on the run which was nice to see

Also i got some good pressure, 3 sacks in total and some hurries that led to the 2nd into near the goal line...Im gonna play some more, see how i do as a weak team but the game reminded me somewhat of when the two teams played in the playoffs and it was a wide out affair, these sliders gave me a lot more hope for this years version and i'm feeling good about what i played.

DanSF:

I have played with both of your sliders, with v.1 I beat the Fins 20-10, and with v.2 I beat the Browns 52-20.
Mind you 14pts came off PR..But I think you have the QB accuraccy down too low for USER. Brady finished 8-23 which is 34% as compared to his avg around 50%..and thats after i bumped it up some at halftime, going into half he was 4-15..
Here are the rest of the stats:
Cle - NE
Tot O 322 - 242
R Yds 135 - 158
P Yds 187 - 84
1st 15 - 9
TO 4 - 2
Poss Time 21:30 - 18:30

That's correct - Human pass block at "0" - I've only been sacked a couple times by the Eagles and the Bills on 95 pass attempts combined.

Re: Official Madden 2004 Slider Discussion

With my entire settings, with human pass block at 0 I've only been sacked a couple times against the Bills and Eagles on close to 95 pass attempts.

Just the right mix of feeling a little "jumpy" in the pocket (that's part of the fun factor!) but having plenty of time (on a blitz maybe 3-4 seconds and without 5-6 seconds)

Bill... Why did you choose the PC version over the console versions?

Do they have an adaptor for you to use the PS2 controller on the PC?

I think the PC's graphics are much better than the Xbox's in Madden 2004

Courtesy of my boy, Amil. He took too long to put them up so I took the liberty to put them up for him. Let me know what you guys think.

In my opinion, I love these sliders because I have more then 2 seconds to throw the ball, and the running game is fairly decent. As without the sliders, the computer was way on target knowing every move my running back was doing.

The Human INT has been dropped very low because my friend Amil averaged 5 INT's a game which is good for 15mins. At a higher rate, he was picking 10+.

Re: Official Madden 2004 Slider Discussion

I played with TexDirtbag's. I won the game 44-28. Still pretty high scoring, but I had 2 defensive touchdowns and a punt return so we'll have to see. I was actually able to run the ball, and at a realistic pace. Passing became a bit harder as every short pass to Moss didn't turn into a huge gain. The computer threw all over me, but also threw 3 picks. Candidate and Coles both had huge plays, but that should be expected. Definetly and improvement, I'll have to play a few more games to see if I need to do any tweaking. But Nice Job.

Re: Official Madden 2004 Slider Discussion

Best drive I ever had in madden 2004 came from the sliders I used on all madden 15min acceleration on.

1 Yard run by Thomas
11 yard pass from stewart to white
26 yard run by thomas
2 yard run by thomas
5 yard pass from stewart to white
3 yard run by thomas
12 yard pass from stewart to shelton
5 yard pass from stewart to davis
incomplete pass, stewart throws it away
8 yard pass from stewart to peterson (TOUCHDOWN)

4 runs 32yrds, 6 plays 42yrds and no penalty's.

Bears V.s Falcons
All Madden 15min acceleration on.

Only reason why I share this is because it's the best drive I ever had and enjoyed every minute of it. I had to share it. It was near perfect and NFL scripted. I was almost perfect with stewart but I was rushed and threw it away to avoid a sack.

The touchdown actually was impressive as I rolled out to the right while peterson ran across from me, dip pass TD.
